Piece of Wall Mural

As promised, here is an interesting little tidbit of my wall mural. It's all graphite right now, but I will most likely ink it in. I do not work in color very often, so this will probably stay black, white, and gray.
This started out as just a face but it morphed into a man in a moon. I don't know why my drawings turn into weird mishmashes of fragmented ideas and concepts, but I guess that is a reflection on myself.

I randomly decided to do full face make-up today. Since my skin is naturally pale, I emphasized my pallor by using white stage powder and doing large dark eyes and lips. Dark blue eye make-up emphasizes my light brown eyes. Also I draw with black eye-liner on the outside border of my lips because black can make your lips look small.

 

Impromptu Wall Mural

I have been working on an impromptu wall mural with M'lynn. This is due to the fact that my walls display sky blue and clouds. My parents painted my room when I was very young, but I think that if I was allowed to consult on the decorations at the time, I would not have chosen clouds. I don't even like outside very much. Anyway, since I cannot paint my room without the hassle of moving all my furniture, I've decided to cover the exposed walls with old drawing paper and draw on the walls. This is also useful since my room is too small to have an easel in it. When I have an interesting part I'll take a picture and display it here so that mainly M'lynn can see its progress.
